Manager Systems, Materials Engineering and Vendor Management – Supply Chain
Job description

§  To manage the material catalogue to an approved standard. To assist with the cleansing of Master Data. Manage and maintenance of Vendor governance. To manage the Oracle MM Module and integrate the materials catalogue and drive systems and process inefficiencies in Oracle for Supply Chain. 5.
§  To ensure that the Centralised Vendor Master Data is aligned within the global best practice and process development, with effective roll out, guideline setting, analytics and compliance checks
§  To ensure that vendor compliance with the Harmony requirements for Vendor approvals are met Regionally, including record keeping of all compliance related matters such as conflicts of interest or any other pertinent declarations.
§  To set standards and policies for the efficient management of Master Data segmentation and classification with collaboration between the Bus, Engineering discipline and strategic sourcing teams.
§  To create and maintain an optimal master data catalogue for Harmony aligned to industry best practice To regularly liaises with Engineering and End-Users through the standards forums and committees on matters, which may affect the supply of materials because of changes to specifications, standardisation of materials or equipment, non-conformance to quality requirements and changes resulting from legislation.
§  To build a motivated and unified performance driven team and liaises with interested and affected parties.
§  Lead a process whereby multi-disciplinary teams of independent experts provides, interprets and integrates accurate, meaningful, and technically staffing level s are maintained
§  To ensure that the data is correctly aligned to industry best practice
§  To encourage a more engaged and proactive safety culture.
§  To demonstrate felt visible leadership by developing self and adopting a collaborative leadership style aligned to Harmony values.

Minimum requirements

  1. A Degree in Engineering
  2. Sound understanding of components and key drivers of the mining value chain
  3. At least 5 years relevant , successful experience in the mining industry
  4. Ability to take a 5 year whole-of-business perspective in managing multiple competing priorities and reconciling these with the Company’s strategic priorities
  5. Be proficient in Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning
  6. Be Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  7. Preparedness to undertake extensive business travel
  8. Medical Certificate of Fitness
  9. Computer Literacy
  10. Fluency in both verbal and written English is essential
  11. Code 8 Driver’s license
