Job description
§ Liaise with SDF’s, Heads of Department, Training Leader and HR department to define discipline’s employee Training and Development § Develop proper action plans and implement effectively to achieve such objectives that include (Potential Assessment, Selection for further development, Individual Development Plans, Career Paths, Succession Planning, Skills retention and Skills Matrix) § Comply and Implement HRD Policy to develop employees from within the relevant operation as well as Company’s Social and Labour Plan and Employment Equity commitments § Lead and assist Moderators and Training Assessors § Handle all administration responsibilities regarding training and ensure compliance with Group HR policies, procedures, standards, methods and legislative requirements § Reporting on training function § Comply with all ISO 9001, other legal compliance and MQA requirements. § Comply with the requirements of QMS system and ensure the integrity of training information § Assist management and SDF in the compilation and management of the workplace skills plan § Oversee the development / revision of learning material for the mining discipline § Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with the training team and customers. § Create a safe and productive environment in the area of responsibility through coaching and teamwork |
Minimum requirements
§ Grade 12
§ National certificate in ODETDP Level 5
§ Blasting Certificate
§ Shift Overseer Certificate
§ Assessor and Moderator Certificate
§ Minimum 5 years’ experience in the LD Mining Training
§ Minimum 3 years’ experience as Training Moderator
§ Knowledge of relevant legislations
§ Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
§ Medical Certificate of Fitness
§ Fluently in both verbal and written English Essential
§ Code 8 Driver’s license
Internal candidates to complete the internal Job application form with HR as acknowledgement from HOD on application.
